Dragonfly 28 Performance

We are very happy and proud to present new DF28 version called DF28 Performance, which is basically the same boat, but with new wave piercing designed floats, similar to the DF25 floats. The new floats, compared to the present standard floats, have 20% more volume and are 50 cm longer, and this will definitely have an effect on the sailing performance of the boat (hence the name).

The projections are that the new floats do not make any difference below 14 knots of true wind, but we expect better performance and more power by +14 knots true wind – this is still only guessing as it is not tested yet. The prototype will be launched just before Christmas so we hopefully can find a day with some nice weather to test the boat between Christmas and New Years.

We will have present the DF28 Performance on display at BOOT Düsseldorf along with the DF25 and DF32.
