Founded by veteran trimaran racer Donald “Don” Wigston, Windcraft is built on nearly 30 years of hands-on sailing, racing, and industry expertise. Originally from New Zealand, Don’s passion for high-performance sailing is captured in his mantra, “Life is too short to sail a slow boat.” He has introduced countless sailors to Dragonfly through immersive demo sails, training programs, and real-world experiences that showcase the boats’ precision and capability.
Today, Windcraft is led by Managing Director Thomas “Tommy” Clark, a licensed USCG 100 GRT Master Captain and Florida yacht broker. With extensive experience in offshore deliveries, chartering, and performance multihulls, Tommy brings a practical, client-focused approach. His background in rigging, refits, and marine systems allows him to guide clients through every stage of ownership with confidence. Tommy has experience on all Dragonfly models and recently purchased a Dragonfly 28 Performance.
