Dragonfly 28

This week has been a quite busy one at the yard. We have been shooting new videos and photos for the upcoming boat shows, and, obviously for our website. We look very much forward to showing you all these new videos that will be released in short time.

Our high-skilled craftsmen are working hard getting every boat ready to meet delivery. Right now, we are finishing up a Dragonfly 28 every ninth workday. As we speak, our Dragonfly 28 team is installing the final details on hull No 151, whereas hull No 152 is being prepared for assembly middle of next week. Hull No 153 is last Dragonfly 28 to leave the yard, before we close down for the Summer holidays middle of July.

Last weekend was a great Dragonfly weekend. Our Dragonflys came in 1., 3. 4, 5., 6., 7. and 9. overall in the multihull class (Texel rating), whereas, Jens Quorning was "first boat home" (15:16:39) in his special built carbon performance trimaran in this year’s Palby Fyn Cup (Round Funen Race).

This weekend, from 27^th – 29^th May, the Danish classic Palby Fyn Cup 2016 takes place. 30 trimarans are signed up for the race, among those 16 Dragonflys. Our own Dragonfly 25 (Peter Lang), Dragonfly 28 (Henrik Bøje Hansen & Peter Quorning) will participate as well as our Dragonfly 32 (Stine Quorning) crewing an all girls boat with some of Denmark's best Olympic female dinghy sailors. Jens Quorning is going to participate as well - skippering his special built carbon performance trimaran.

Both our Slovenian and Austrian team are ready to welcome you onboard our Dragonfly 25 and our Dragonfly 28 at the Internautica Fair in Portoroz, Slovenia. Until Friday, our very own Jørn Ravnskjær will be joining the sales team. See you in sunny Portoroz!

This year we will host the Open House Event again where we open up the doors for our production facilities and you can go out for a test sail. The event will take place Saturday 6 June from 10 a.m. to 16 p.m. This year we offer test sails in three different boats: the Dragonfly 25 Sport, Dragonfly 28 Sport and Dragonfly 32 Supreme.

Dragonfly is happy to announce that we have got a dealer in Estonia, Mr. Taavi Lind. This is a great opening to the Baltic and Eastern European markets and we are very excited to see what this new partnership can accomplish. Mr. Lind is not resting on his laurels, since Dragonfly will soon have premiere at a boat show in Talinn. A Dragonfly 28 will be at display at the Mere Mess indoor boat show in Talinn from March 20-22. We look forward to see how the Dragonfly concept will be received in Estonia.
