Olsen Design

In 2005 a new era began for Quorning Boat in the cooperation between Jens Quorning and Steen Olsen - introducing 3D design to the development of our Dragonfly trimarans.

Steen Olsen is sole owner of Olsen Design and has been playing an important role in the the design and calculations on the last four Dragonfly models: Dragonfly 35, Dragonfly 28, Dragonfly 32 and latest the Dragonfly 25 in close cooperation with Quorning Boats. Steen has more 20 years of experience in the boat area, has done folding propellers, hatches and optmized rig details to Americas Cup.

Steen enjoys sailing – especially Dragonfly trimarans - and was Overall winner around Fyn 2011 for multi hulls and completed The Silver Rudder 2012, single hand around Fyn in the time 18:18 onboard his own Dragonfly 920.
