While my background is in marine industrial design, I have raced and cruised trimarans and catamarans for over 20 years and 25,000+ miles offshore, including a transatlantic passage and two Round Britain races. I have also been lucky to experience spectacular racing multihulls from Extreme 40 to 110ft maxicat at 40+ knots, which gave me a real taste for performance.
Therefore when choosing our own boat, it had provide the speed and 'buzz' I was used to for racing with friends, but also offer safe and comfortable cruising with a young family. I knew there was only one design which excels at both activities, so we bought a Dragonfly.
After several great seasons with our first trimaran, I was delighted to accept Jens' invitation to become the UK dealer in 2005. Since then we've enjoyed cruising Dragonfly 920 and 28 around the south coast, I've raced them with friends, and sailed extensively on all the current range. A Dragonfly really can do it all, and is sure to "unfold your horizons".
