30 Years of Swing Wing

This year, we are celebrating 30 years of the Dragonfly Swing Wing folding system.

The very first foldable Dragonfly ever, was the Dragonfly 800 Swing Wing, which was launched back in August 1989 - most likely the biggest step in the Dragonfly history and design after years of development.

The system worked perfectly, and the yard expected two production lines still - one with the Swing Wing system and one non-folding, as it was quite uncertain, whether the market would accept this new strange folding product. But - the market of the folding trimarans took off.
