A Dragonfly fairy tale....

This year we are celebrating 50 years of Dragonfly. In the very same facilities in Skærbæk, were it all began 50 years ago, we have just built this Dragonfly 25 with the magic number 50. Obviously, this is special number for us this year. The happy new owner, Kurt, has just accepted delivery of his new Dragonfly in the beautiful town Lemvig, Denmark.

Kurt has been a Dragonfly fan and owner for many years. Kurt bought his first Dragonfly 800 in 1989. In the intervening time, he owned several other yachts, but he got rather impatient, as the boats moved so much water when they were supposed to accelerate. Kurt recently decided, that it was time for a Dragonfly once again. Earlier this year, Kurt bought his Dragonfly 25 at our yard in Skærbæk, as he would be able to handle this trimaran singlehanded. It is with great joy and pride that we now deliver the Dragonfly 25 to Kurt, and we hope, that his new Dragonfly will be a part of new adventures.
