Round the Island Race

Round the Island Race took place on 1st of July.

12 Dragonfly Trimarans participated among 1000 other boats in the 2023 edition of the race.

A Dragonfly 28 Performance won the Multihulls MOCRA class on corrected time and another Dragonfly 28 Performance took the 3rd place.

A huge congratulations from Team Dragonfly to the participating Dragonfly crews.

Peter Quorning took part in the race to meet the participating Dragonfly owners and to get the experience himself - "It was a fantastic experience to participate in this historic race circumnavigating the Isle of Wight. Onboard the Dragonfly 40 Ultimate we experienced winds up to 35 knots and was still able to carry full sails during the race with boat speeds up to 19 knots, while enjoying to play and surf on the waves. A race I definitely will join again some day. And what a great result by the team on the Dragonfly 28 Performance winning the MOCRA class".
