Silverrudder Race 2018

During this year's Silverrudder Race, the start had to be delayed 24 hours due to the weather conditions.

Three Dragonflys participated and completed the race - all three boats without a scratch! Jens Thuesen helmed his Dragonfly 35 through the race in the time 17h02m44s, Herbert Schüler helmed his Dragonfly 920 Extreme through the race in the time 19h27m22s, whereas Henrik Bøje Hansen helmed our Dragonfly 28 Performance through the race setting a new race record in the time 15h13m28s. Further, Henrik was first boat to cross the finish line - congratulations Henrik!!

The start was characterized by the rough weather condtions with big waves and extreme winds, whereas the last part of the trip from Fredericia towards Svendborg was a breathtaking sailing experience in the moonlight, reports Henrik.
